California Youth Conservatory (CYC) is an exciting new theatre company for young people. CYC's mission is to provide artistic learning opportunities for young, aspiring performers who wish to build confidence, greater levels of skill and a greater understanding of professional Performing Arts. CYC provides a safe, satisfying, fun--yet highly professional--environment for youth to learn the art of stagecraft in. CYC subscribes to very high standards of ethics and fairness, and maintains a non-political organization in which every child has a fair consideration, according only to his or her own merits. Our goal is to help our students to build character, lasting friendships and more marketable skill-sets while learning from experienced, bona-fide professionals.

CYC offers classes and workshops taught by well-respected, professional actors and teachers. CYC also produces youth theatre productions of the highest quality to be found in San Diego with a production staff led by all-pro actor/directors, producers, musical directors and choreographers.
